Google buys land in Denmark

Google announced on Friday that it has bought a plot of land in southern Denmark, next to a planned Apple data centre, in order to make sure that it has the option of building one there too if they choose to do so.
 
Apple said in July it would spend around USD $950m to build a centre with a planned opening in 2019. If Google builds there too, it would make the area one of the largest data centre hubs in the world.
