Charity Party 2018

Following on from the success of the Charity party that we held in late November last year, we have hired a large, floating (static) pub in London SW1 for this year’s DCME Charity party which will be held on the evening of Wednesday 28th November, from 5pm until late.  We very much hope to grow on last year’s success, where we gained support from 36 sponsor companies and 380(ish) attendees and, as a result, were able to donate a whopping £1,800 to charity! 

This is a really super opportunity to make life easy for yourselves and use this event as your office Christmas party and / or client entertainment whilst letting us take on all the hard work and organisation and give something back to our chosen *charities :-)  There will be a large amount of industry people under one roof so it would be wonderful to see you there! 

This is not one of our usual end user networking events – it is an industry party, so a great opportunity for everyone to come together, regardless of who they work for within the world of data centres – note that, unlike our quarterly networking events, we are not limiting the number of competing companies in any way from sponsoring the same event plus vendors & manufacturers may all attend too.  You may invite colleagues, clients, prospects, partner organisations or even friends and family to attend.  Everyone is welcome – as long as they have a paid-for ticket of course!  We can accommodate 400-500 people on the night, so let’s all do our very best to fill the venue up!

There are three ways to attend as follows:

1. Sponsorship prices start at just £300 + VAT and offer brand awareness and 5-50 tickets, depending which level you sign up at – more details further down this page.  

2. Individual tickets can be purchased for £55 + VAT via our dedicated EventBrite page here.  All tickets will include a 10% donation to *our chosen charities, event entrance, buffet, **drinks, DJ & all associated bookings fees however there will be no branding on offer. 

3. If you qualify to attend our end user events as our guest (eg if you are an end user, “vendor neutral” installer, consultant, engineeretc) please let us know if you’re available to attend and we will see if any of our sponsors have a ticket that they are able to offer you (this is quite possibleas we had quite a few spare tickets last year).

PRICE:  £3,000 + VAT

The price of all sponsorship packages and tickets includes a 10% donation to our *chosen charities, event entrance, buffet, **drinks & DJ.  Please note that there is no option to bring any branding / signage with you to this event and no registration lists / contact details are included in any of our sponsorship packages relating to this particular event. 

**The ticket prices have gone up this year and the sponsorship packages re-jigged as, due to popular request, there will be a percentage of takings put behind the bar so that the first few drinks (to include selected red & white wine, beer, cider & soft drinks) will be complimentary.  We do not know, at this stage, how long the bar fund will last.  We expect it to last until around 7-8pm - possibly later - depending on how much people drink of course!  As and when the bar fund dries up, a pay bar will be put into operation.  Spirits will not be included in the complimentary bar but can be purchased from the bar directly if you wish.

Being a charity event, we are hoping to gain as much support as possible however, please don’t leave it too long to sign up as we inevitably won’t have room for everyone.  As already mentioned, we had 36 sponsors sign up last year in quite a short space of time.  With this in mind, if you are interested in getting involved, it would be wise to let us know asap please.
